Watermelon Sea Moss Gel Recipe

Serving Size: Up to 2 tablespoons

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ounce dried sea moss
  • 1/5 cups (12 oz.) of freshly squeezed Watermelon juice

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and Clean:
    • Rinse the sea moss with filtered water to remove any salt or debris.
    • Squeeze 12 ounces of watermelon and pour into the container with the sea moss.
    • Measure and pour room temperature spring water into the container with the sea moss. For a smoother gel, bring the water to a boil prior to pouring it into the container with the sea moss.
  2. Blend:
    • If room temperature water is used, cover the container and place it in the refrigerator overnight (12hrs), then blend until smooth. If hot water is used, allow the sea moss to rehydrate for 15 minutes before blending it until smooth.
    • Pour the rehydrated sea moss and watermelon juice into a blender and blend until smooth.
    • (Optional) Add pieces of fresh watermelon
  3. Store:
    • Pour the gel into a clean, airtight container.
    • Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks, or 2 months frozen.

Always consult your doctor before consuming sea moss.
